2025 Book Release

FROM THE GROUND UP, BY CHRISTY JAYNES

What if changing history doesn’t start in Washington, but on your block?

From The Ground Up isn’t just a call to action, it’s a rallying cry for women who feel that inner nudge to lead, even if they’ve never considered politics before. It’s for the woman who’s tired of decisions being made without her voice, who sees gaps in leadership close to home, and who’s ready to discover just how much influence she truly holds.

This book will shift how you think about power. It will show you that making an impact doesn’t require a title, a donor list, or a perfect resume. It starts with the courage to ask, Why not me?

Packed with real-world insight, tools to get you started, and stories that spark your own, From The Ground Up helps you move from frustration to action, from apathy to agency, and into the role you were meant to play in shaping your community’s future.

Christy Jaynes is a civic strategist, leadership coach, and the founder of Electa, a modern branding agency that helps women in down-ballot races build powerful, authentic campaigns. For over two decades, Christy has guided women at pivotal moments in life and leadership—helping them clarify their goals, step into their power, and make a meaningful impact in their communities.

A passionate educator and advocate, Christy has spent the last several years writing training materials and coaching programs for women candidates and civic leaders. Her work centers on the belief that when more women step forward to lead—especially at the local and state levels—everyone benefits.

In 2025, Christy made her solo book debut with From The Ground Up, a clarion call and practical roadmap for women who are tired of the status quo and ready to become part of the solution. Equal parts encouragement and strategic guide, the book invites readers to reimagine power, reclaim leadership as care, and say yes to their own potential.

Also an entrepreneur, artist, and mother, Christy brings a rare blend of bold truth-telling, personal warmth, and creative vision to everything she does. Whether through coaching, publishing, or political training, she is deeply committed to building a future where women's voices are at the center of decision-making—because democracy works better when everyone is at the table.
